ACTV8 ELITE ATHLETIC TRAINING

ELITE ATHLETIC TRAINING (Ages 14 - 18)

This program has been an absolute game changer for many athletes, helping them attain their goals of playing college sports. Athletes are challenged daily in techniques to help improve proximal stability “stiffness” in order to increase movement speeds and more importantly reduce injury potential. Athletes are coached on the principles of:

  • Mindset - Mental Toughness

  • Nutrition - Fueling the Body Properly

  • Training - Training Smart and Efficiently

  • Recovery & Rest - Sleeping and Regeneration the Body Optimally

Every athlete will go through an extensive evaluation before beginning in this program.

In this program, athletes will work on:

Speed Development

  • Mechanics of Sprinting at Maximum Velocity

  • Acceleration and Deceleration (Reactive)

  • Linear, Lateral, and Multidirectional Speed

  • Change of Direction (Agility)

  • Explosive Plyometric Abilities

Strength Development

  • Stability

  • Proper Lifting Techniques

  • Movement-Based Strength

  • Increase Power Output

Injury Prevention

  • Developing Stability throughout the Body (Proximal Stability)

  • Developing Functional/Tuned Mobility

  • Flexibility

Energy Systems Development

  • Specific to Athletes Sport Needs

  • Increasing Work Capacity



ACTV8 FUNDAMENTALS

LONG TERM ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT (Ages 9-12)

In the FUNdamentals program, our young athletes will develop the foundational movement skills necessary to compete in sports. This occurs in a structured environment that allows them to gain the competence needed to compete in sports in a fun atmosphere. This multi-sport skillset will transfer to any field or court of play.

Once a wide variety of fundamental movement skills have been acquired, participants progress into the phase of training, where they will begin learning how to utilize weights, how to lift properly (form & technique), as well as develop more advance tactical speed and quickness strategies.

Equipment utilized: TRX Suspension Trainers, Bands, Kettlebells, Dumbbells, Stability Balls and Pads, as well as, Battle Ropes and other various Cardio Equipment.
